Equipment Search
To search for equipment by serial number, from the Home screen tap on the “Search” button.
Select [Equipment].
By default, the equipment list is auto populated with the equipment that is currently in the technician's WIP. To search for a piece of equipment, enter the equipment's serial number in the search field, then press [Search]. In the list, select the respective equipment, then press [Select].
Here you can view the equipment details, view service history, view open work orders (then request a work order assignment), request or create (depending on your company settings), update the meter, review equipment specifications and view/edit equipment notes (i.e. special attachments, drive tire size, special filter, etc.).
For example, the technician is heading to a location and while they are there they may be able to work on additional works orders that are open for that location. If they search by equipment, they can view the open work orders by pressing [Open Work Orders] in the previous screen. They can then view all open work orders for the respective equipment and 'request' that the work order be assigned to themselves.
