Equipment Details-Service

Once in the Work Order details, the Technician can view the details of the equipment by pressing [View Details] or [Notes]. TIP: If notes are added the [Notes] button will be blue.

Equipment Details cards:

  • Equipment card: displays information for the Serial Number, Customer/Internal Unit Numbers, Make/Model, Customer/Location and Meter.  NOTE: If the equipment is designated as Dealer Owned, this will display in the equipment card as well with a green tag and YES to indicate
  • View card: view service history and open work orders
    • TIP: Within Service History, the technician can search on any service history for this piece of equipment. They can search by #, description, customer and more
  • Actions card: request a work order, create a work order (depending on technician capability settings) create a quote and update meter
  • Specifications card: if specs are added, these will display in this card. NOTE: These are not able to be edited within the Service app.
  • Notes card: Technicians can add/edit/remove equipment specific notes here (e.g., 'This equipment has wire guidance,' 'Located in the northeast corner of the building,' or 'No repairs if meter exceeds 10K hours'). These notes are not visible to your customers. Notes added here or within HQ will display both in HQ & the Service app.
  • Attachments card: Technicians can upload pictures & PDF files. URL links will display if added in HQ. Images, such as data plates or photos of the unit, can be helpful for the back office when ordering parts or for new technicians when learning about the equipment.
  • Model Attachments card: If attachments are added to the Model, within HQ, these are also visible for the Technicians in this card. Click here to learn more on how to add attachments to Models via HQ.
