Commenting on Part Requests

When a request is received, HQ users can comment on the request. These comments are then sent as a notification to the technician and the technician can view the comment and respond by adding a comment. 


For HQ users:

Navigate HQ>SERVICE>PART REQUESTS. After selecting the specific Part Request, within the details page, locate the Comments card, select “Add Comment”> type your comment> Save.


For Technicians:

When a comment is added, a notification will then be sent to the technician's tablet. The technician can then choose to [Ignore] or [View] the comment.

Once the technician clicks [View] it will take them to the Notifications screen. Once there, click on [Part Request Comment] to view.

The Service app will then display the details of the Part Request, including all comments. Here, the technician can add more comments by pressing the + button within the Comments card.
