Administrative Work Orders (Softbase)

Administrative Work Orders

These, non-billable work orders are created/dispatched a little differently than billable work order types like Service or Maintenance types. They are created in Softbase, but NOT dispatched to HQ via Softbase. They do not bring over comments to Softbase, just hours.

In order to link these work orders between Softbase & Tinnacity:

  1. Create the work order in Softbase but Do NOT assign a technician and Do NOT dispatch. NOTE: This work order type is dispatched to technicians via Tinnacity HQ>Admin>Administrative Work Orders NOT via Softbase.   2. In HQ>Admin>Administrative Work Orders: Create the Administrative Work Order in Tinnacity by clicking on the + icon in the top right and use the Work Order Number from Softbase as work order number in Tinnacity
  3. Toggle ON 'Synchronize'. 
  4. Select the Bill To & Location
  5. Enter a Description
  6. Select a Technician or multiple Technicians (this is how the Admin Work Order is dispatched)
  7. Select SAVE at the bottom of the screen

Once created, still Do NOT dispatch from Softbase. The agent will link the two together.
