Sign & Complete if your dealership uses Tinnacity's Customer Portal for your customers

If your dealership uses Tinnacity's Customer Portal and if in Admin/Customers/Customer Details 'Signature Required' is enabled, this will require the customer to sign off on the work order before it can be completed.

However, an HQ user can still sign off on the work order if needed. Once a technician puts a work order into the Cannot Get Signature option during the Customer Review process, the work order will remain in Customer Review until your customer signs off on the work order in the Customer Portal & is not completed until signed.

HQ will display this information to you within the work order details screen of a work order:

There are 3 options you can choose from:

  1. Use the Sign & Complete process steps #2 & #3 mentioned above
  2. Have the customer sign through the customer portal
    1. Within the work order details screen in HQ, you can send a request for the customer to sign as well. Click on the 3 dots in the top right>Request Customer Signature
  3. Have the technician get the signature
