Inventory Check

The Inventory Check section allows you to scan a QR Code to 'check in' the equipment, to submit a request to move the equipment from current location to another, or submit that the equipment cannot be found at the current location. 

 

In the Inventory Check Main Screen you can:

  1. 'Days Last Seen' filter (1): use to display equipment that has not been checked in since x number of days you set. TIP: To view all equipment at the Location, leave Days Since Last Seen blank. NOTE: Last Seen - Only displays if the equipment has an active QR code assigned. The date/time displayed is the last time the QR was scanned by either your technician or by a customer.
  2. Change Customer filter (2): Change the location to view equipment at another location

'Check In' Equipment

  1. To check in a piece of equipment, select Inventory Check (1) and then press the QR Code icon at the top, right corner (2). NOTE: Confirm that the respective location is selected before you begin.

  2. To scan the QR Code, point the camera at the QR Code.

  3. A successful scan will display a message that reads "QR Scan Successful". You can choose to [View Equipment] details or [Scan Another QR].
  4. View Equipment allows you to manually mark the equipment as being 'seen', to request that the equipment be moved to another location, or to submit that the equipment cannot be found

View Equipment Details

  1. From the Inventory Check screen, select the respective location using the Change Customer filter and then locate and select the equipment's serial number.

  2. The Equipment Details are now on display. You can choose to [Manually Mark as Seen], [Request to Move] from current location to another, or submit [Equipment Not Found] at current location.

Move Equipment

Perhaps the equipment displayed is listed at an incorrect location. You can submit a request to have it moved to the correct location. This request can then be found in HQ>Service>Equipment Requests and the Back Office can move the equipment to the correct location. Click here to learn more about Equipment Requests in HQ.

  1. Follow Steps 1 - 3 in View Equipment Details, then proceed to Step 2 below.
  2. Press [Request to Move].

  3. Press the pencil icon next to location to choose the location to move the equipment to.
  4. You can search for the location by entering the location name in the search field or scroll through the list. Locate the Location Name to move the equipment to, then press [Select].
  5. Press [Submit] to send the move equipment request.
  6. Press [Yes] to complete the request or press [No] to cancel the request.

Manually Mark as Seen

You can manually mark the equipment as seen if you do not have a QR Code assigned to the equipment.

  1. Follow Steps 1 - 3 in View Equipment Details, then proceed to Step 2 below.
  2. Press [Manually Mark as Seen].

  3. Press [Yes] to complete or press [No] to cancel.

Equipment Not Found

Perhaps while viewing the list of equipment at a location, you find that one is not able to be found at that location. You can submit an Equipment Request to HQ to indicate this equipment cannot be found at its current location and the Back Office can then assign it to the correct location once determined.

  1. Follow Steps 1 - 3 in View Equipment Details, then proceed to Step 2 below.
  2. Press [Equipment Not Found].

  3. Press [Yes] to complete or press [No] to cancel.
