Completed Work Orders (WO)

WOs flow from HQ and go into QuickBooks, the WO is created in HQ in Service/Dispatch and assigned to the technician. When the WO is completed, it is highly recommended that you review each WO in HQ in Service/History to confirm that everything is accurate (i.e. add/adjust parts, add/adjust travel/labor).

It is also important to review all time card comments from your technicians so that you can make any necessary adjustments.

Time Card Comments

Technicians are trained to add comments to their time card when they forget to clock into a WO, or forget to change from travel to labor, etc. It is critical that you review all time card comments so that adjustments can be made to both the WO and the individual’s time card to ensure that you are billing correctly and that technicians' time cards are accurate. To review time card comments follow these steps:

  1. In HQ, go to Time Cards/Time Card Comments.
  2. Review each comment and make the necessary adjustments to the respective WO and the technician’s time card.  To review the details, click the three dots and then click View Individual Time Card.
  3. The individual’s time card is now on display. Locate the respective entry, click the three vertical dots and click Edit.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the time card, you will then be prompted to also update the respective WO.
  5. Make the necessary changes to the WO.

Review WO

To review a WO, follow the below steps.

  1. in HQ go to Service/History.  Locate and select the respective WO.
  2. Scroll to the bottom, to add an entry for Labor, Travel, and Parts go into the respective tab and click the [Add….] button.










  3. To adjust labor, travel, part entries or the work performed notes go into the Activity tab.

TIP:  You can also add work performed notes/private comment, labor and/or travel entries in the Activity tab.
