Customer Portal Equipment
The equipment section displays a list of the customer’s equipment and/or the Dealer’s equipment, if applicable (rentals). NOTE: The only way the user can see dealer’s equipment is if you enabled this permission when creating the account. If you need to modify the user’s permissions, in HQ go to Admin/Users/User Details.
Like that of HQ, there are icons throughout the portal that allow users to enable/disable filters, to export the data in the table to a .csv file, and to hide/unhide and arrange the columns in the table.
To view the equipment’s details, click the respective serial number. TIP: Within the details screen the customer can submit a quote request and a service request directly to you, the dealer. As well as a request to update hour meter reading and request equipment location move within 'Other Requests' . You can also see all open and completed quotes and service requests for the respective equipment.
NOTE: Update Meter Reading and Request Location Move requests are located in HQ within Service/Equipment Requests. You can use the Type filter to search for a specific type of equipment request such as Add, Update Meter, Move to Another Location, and Not Found at Location. The Green star next to the Created By represents a customer submitted request.
