Rental Requests
The Rental Requests section is where your customer can request renting equipment from you, the dealer, and view the status for each request (i.e. Work Order Opened, Pending, etc.). To view the request details, click the respective Request ID number or click the three vertical dots and select Details.
Like that of HQ, there are icons throughout the portal that allow users to enable/disable filters, to export the data in the table to a .csv file, and to hide/unhide and arrange the columns in the table and to request a Repair/PM click the plus sign (+).
You, the dealer, can view these requests in HQ Service/Rental Requests. You can update the status to keep your customer informed, use ‘comment’ to ask questions to your customer, and upload attachments (i.e. rental quote).
The Rental Requests includes a Status field that indicates the current status of the request, specifying whether the request is Pending, Request Received, In Process, Ready for Review, Need More Info, Approved, Denied, Customer Denied, or Canceled. It is important to keep these updated so that your customer knows the status of their request.
TIP: Requests submitted by your customers will have a green star next to their name.
To update the status and/or the assigned user on multiple requests at once, follow the steps below:
- In HQ, within Service>Rental Requests, click the box icon in the top right corner
- The Rental Requests displayed will then have a box to the left of each request. Simply select all the requests you'd like to update the status and/or assigned to by clicking on the corresponding box for each request and then select Update Status and/or Change Assigned To.
- When selecting Update Status choose from the list of options within the dropdown menu and click Save. When selecting Change Assigned To, you can either assign to yourself by selecting Assign to Me and clicking Save or select a User within the dropdown menu and click Save or Unassign.
Tip: If All status' are to be updated, click on the box at the very top of the request list. This will select ALL requests. Click and choose Update Status and/or Change Assigned To and repeat the above steps, click Save.
