Odometer Reading

Require Odometer Entry for Travel

To have technicians to easily track their start and end odometer reading for driving to a customer's site, enable Require odometer entry when starting/stopping travel.

1. In HQ, go to Company Settings>Service Settings and enable Require odometer entry when starting/stopping travel in the Technician Capability section.

   

When this setting is enabled, technicians will be prompted to enter their starting odometer reading when they begin travel in the Service app, and their ending odometer reading when they stop travel or indicate they have started working.

When the technician activate 'travel', they will be prompted Enter Start Odometer message. The previous odometer reading is included in this message. Enter the odometer reading, then press [OK].

When the technician indicates they are now working, they will be prompted Enter End Odmeter message. The previous odometer reading is included in this message. Enter the end odometer reading, then press [OK].
