Equipment Requests-Service app

Overview

The Equipment Request feature serves the dual purpose of enabling technicians to submit requests for equipment that has not yet been serviced by your dealership (add equipment), as well as facilitating requests for equipment transport. To Add Equipment

In the instance when the equipment needs to be added to the work order or it needs to be changed, but the new equipment is not on the equipment list, the technician can use this equipment request to have the back office add the new equipment.


  1. Within a work order press the 3 dots in the top right corner.

  2. Press [Equipment Request].

  3. Select 'What type of equipment request?', press [Add].


  4. Fill out the required fields. Once all information is entered, click [Submit] and a request will be sent to the Back Office. NOTE: Required fields are: Serial No, Make, Model. If the Technician does not know the Serial No. of a piece of equipment, for example, they may enter N/A in that field. BEST PRACTICE: It is important to provide as many details as possible and add pictures if available of the equipment that needs added. I.E. a picture of a Data Plate. TIP: Equipment Requests are located in HQ>Service>Equipment Requests. You can use the 'Type' filter to see all entries for the selected type (i.e. Transport).


To Transport Equipment

In cases where equipment requires transportation, technicians can utilize the equipment request feature to prompt the back-office to schedule the equipment's transport.


  1. Within a work order press the 3 dots in the top right corner.


  1. Press [Equipment Request].
  1. Select 'What type of equipment request?', press [Transport].
  • 4. Add comment, attach picture(s) if applicable, then press [Submit].
