Tinnacity Ship App Overview
The Tinnacity Ship app is an easy-to-use/straight forward app that in coordination with HQ, eliminates paperwork and streamlines asset shipments.
Logging In
Once the driver role has been created in HQ & is active, the driver can then download the Tinnacity Ship app to their device. At the login screen: enter the email address (the same one entered upon creation of their profile in HQ) & the password they chose, then select [Log In].
Upon logging into the Ship app, the driver receives a pop-up to Clock In: Yes or No. If Yes is selected, they will be clocked in. If No is selected, they can always clock in later in the Home Screen Time Card section.
Home Screen
The Tinnacity Ship Home Screen offers 3 cards (Time Card/Shipments/Notifications) which show/allow various things:
Time Card Section:
- The driver can clock in/out of the app by pressing the [Stop] button, then select the reason for ‘Clock Out’.
- Selecting [Summary] will display the the driver's time card
Shipments Section:
- The driver can see an overview of how many shipments they have for the next 48 hours (today’s date and tomorrow’s date). Press [View All] to view the Shipping Tickets available. Click here to learn how to complete a Shipping Ticket in the app. NOTE: Only shipments scheduled for the current day & following day will be displayed. TIP: When paired with Scanning app, the driver can scan the QR code to open the shipping ticket to begin the pickup or delivery actions. The shipping ticket provides easy to read pickup and delivery details.
- Once in the Shipments screen, the driver can select the shipment by pressing on it, which will then open the details of that shipment.
TIP: Depending on how the filters are set, Select the "All", "Today" or "Tomorrow" next to the refresh icon to change filter options. Use the filter options to view shipments for today, tomorrow or all. Drivers can also Group By: Do Not Group, Pick Up location or Delivery Location
Notifications section
- This section will display all notifications the driver receives. Select [View All] to view.
Shipping Ticket Details
Upon opening a shipping ticket, the details are on display. The driver will be prompted with the Pick Up and/or Delivery Actions based upon the requirements determined in the Shipping Template that was used. Click here for more information on how to complete a Shipping Ticket within the Ship app. TIP: To view more actions, click the three vertical dots at the top, right corner. The Reset option refers to as ‘rescheduling’ the shipment.
