How to Complete a Shipping Ticket in the Tinnacity Ship App
When a driver selects a shipping ticket, they are then brought to the details screen of that ticket.
At the top of the screen are 2 tabs: General & Equipment
- General tab: displays all general information for the ticket. From here the driver can complete the required Pick Up/Drop off actions, view details of: the ticket, Pick Up Location, Delivery Location, any Misc Charges added and Comments. NOTE: The required pick up/delivery actions are determined when creating the Shipping Template within HQ. TIP: Within the Pick Up location & Devlievery Location cards, the address listed is a hyperlink that when selected will take the driver to their map app they can use.
- Equipment tab: displays the Make/Model, Pick Up Status, Pick Up Meter & any Pick Up Pictures. Selecting Edit or Add will allow the driver to perform that function corresponding to the information. For example, selecting edit next to the Pick Up Status will allow the driver to change the status from Accepted to Declined if needed.
Completing a Shipping Ticket
In order for a Driver to complete a Shipping Ticket, follow the steps below. Regardless of the type of Shipping template used, the process will remain the same. NOTE: The below steps are for an example of an internal driver using the Ship app to Pick Up equipment. For 3rd party drivers, the shipment is completed within HQ. - In the Pick Up Actions section go through all required actions by selecting each action listed and completing. In this example, enter Comments, take Pictures and get a Signature.
- Once all actions are completed, select [Finish Pick Up] to complete the Pick Up portion of the ticket.
- Once Delivery is completed, select the [Finish Delivery] button. NOTE: In the Status card you will see that Picked Up is check marked and the Pick Up Date is listed.
- The delivery is now completed and the Status card reflects the date as well.
