Work Performed Comments
The work performed comments allows the Technician to input what work they have completed on the work order. The 'Work Performed' comments section allows technicians to detail the tasks they have completed on the work order. By adding multiple comments, technicians can provide a comprehensive account of the repair process. Each comment is date- and time-stamped, which is visible to both back-office staff and technicians. This helps address any customer concerns about the time taken to complete the repair.
To require technicians to enter a work performed comment, this should be set on the work order type. Switch on Work Performed Comment Required for the appropriate work order type.
To navigate to this screen: Select a work order from the WIP screen
- Within the Work Order Details screen on the top right, select the 3 dots.
- From here select Work Performed. The Technician can then enter their work performed comments.

NOTE: This is only possible on checklists assigned to SERVICE type work orders currently.

- Once added, the Technician can edit the comment to provide additional wording or remove any wording, if they choose.

- Once added and no additional edits are needed, select Save.

The Technician can add multiple days worth of comments within this screen and has the ability to edit/delete comments.

When enabled, technicians must enter Work Performed Notes before starting a new work order or travel if no notes have been recorded for the current day within the specified time frame. If a minimum character count is set, technicians must also meet that requirement before proceeding.
