Work Performed Comments
The work performed comments allows the Technician to input what work they have completed on the work order. The 'Work Performed' comments section allows technicians to detail the tasks they have completed on the work order. By adding multiple comments, technicians can provide a comprehensive account of the repair process. Each comment is date- and time-stamped, which is visible to both back-office staff and technicians. This helps address any customer concerns about the time taken to complete the repair.
Additionally, there are Company Settings within HQ that can be configured to set a time frame that will then require the Technician to enter Work Performed comments, if they have not by the time set. Click here to learn more.

TIP: If enabled, the Technician can use Talk to Text when entering comments. Often this is shown as a microphone on the tablet keyboard.
The Technician can add multiple days worth of comments within this screen and has the ability to edit/delete comments.
When enabled, technicians must enter Work Performed Notes before starting a new work order or travel if no notes have been recorded for the current day within the specified time frame. If a minimum character count is set, technicians must also meet that requirement before proceeding.
